Made with 100% Asatsuyu cultivar, also known as the "Natural Gyokuro", this tea is sweet and straightforward, with the unmistakable aroma and flavor of roasted sweet potato. The roasty/nutty notes come from the "hiire" or firing of the tea around 155F-175F to emphasize the flavor profiles in the tea. A satisfying daily drinker and excellent with rice dishes or with steamed or roasted vegetables.
