This award-winning saemidori cultivar kabusecha is part of Sueyoshi's Furusato no Hana series. Considered by many to by Mataki-san's finest tea, this kabusecha was deep steamed and lightly green-roasted. It offers a harmonious balance of flavors that is enjoyable as both a hot and cold brew.

 

The Sueyoshi farm and factory is located in the Soo district in Kagoshima Prefecture. A volcanic mountain range rich in biodiversity, the region is on the southern end of the Kirishima Mountain Range. They are proactive in preserving the biodiversity of the region through the practice of Chagusaba Agriculture.

Chagusaba "tea grass place" is a traditional farming method that dates back centuries, and is most commonly practiced in the Shizouka area. Natural grasses surround the tea fields and are used to enrich the soil and reduce environmental impact.
